Choose the relevant request route

Doxyte is a product and business under incorporation in India. These instructions cover general website enquiries as well as information associated with a Doxyte Patient account or controlled Nalan test interaction. Nalan on WhatsApp is currently in controlled testing and is not yet available for patient use.

You can withdraw an optional permission through the applicable direct control or ask Doxyte for help through the privacy-request workflow.

Submitting a request does not immediately change or delete a record. Doxyte verifies the requester, reviews the request and any applicable retention obligation, and records the outcome.

  • Provide access to or an export of your Doxyte Patient information
  • Correct or complete inaccurate profile information
  • Correct an inaccurate Clinic link
  • Ask the responsible Clinic to review an amendment to its record
  • Restrict an eligible processing activity
  • Assess deletion of an eligible record you uploaded
  • Assess closure and erasure of your Doxyte Patient account
  • Review a privacy question or grievance
  • Record or change an eligible rights nominee
  • Review another privacy request

Website enquiry requests

Email privacy@doxyte.com from the address used for your enquiry. State that the request concerns the public website, provide the approximate submission date and describe the access, correction, deletion, withdrawal or grievance request.

Include only the minimum information needed to locate the enquiry. Do not resend the original message, health information, credentials, one-time codes or identity documents unless Doxyte establishes an appropriate restricted route and asks for a specific minimum item.

The website Privacy Policy explains the ordinary 24-month enquiry-retention period and the limited circumstances in which relevant information may be kept longer.

03

Doxyte Patient requests

If you can sign in: Sign in to Doxyte Patient and open Privacy and data requests. Select the request type, include only the information needed to identify and handle the request, and submit it. This authenticated route is preferred because it helps Doxyte associate the request with the correct account without asking you to send sensitive information through ordinary email.

If you cannot sign in: Email privacy@doxyte.com to start identity verification. Include only the name and contact detail already associated with your account, the request category, and a safe request/reference identifier if one is available.

Do not email health records, reports, screenshots containing health information, passwords, one-time codes or unnecessary medical details. Doxyte will provide an approved restricted route if minimum health information is genuinely required to complete the review.

04

WhatsApp and Nalan requests

Different WhatsApp actions have different effects. If you cannot access the linked Patient account, use the signed-out email route above. Do not send additional health information in WhatsApp merely to identify a privacy request.

ActionEffect
Delete the WhatsApp chatRemoves the chat from the devices or WhatsApp account where you delete it; it does not submit a Doxyte deletion request
Send STOPOpts the WhatsApp sender out of further Nalan companion processing; it does not close a Doxyte account or delete confirmed Patient history
Unlink WhatsAppRemoves the active link between that sender and the Doxyte Patient account; it does not delete the account, a Clinic record or previously confirmed journal history
Submit a verified Doxyte requestStarts Doxyte’s review of the requested access, correction, deletion, restriction or account action
05

What happens during account closure

An approved Patient account-closure process is export-first. Doxyte offers an export before placing the account into a 30-calendar-day recoverable closure period. During that period, the account is closed to ordinary use and may be restored after appropriate verification.

After the recovery period, Doxyte removes the Patient PHR from active service and erases it where legally permitted. Doxyte will communicate the request outcome through an approved route after the necessary identity and scope checks.

06

Information with a different lifecycle

A request cannot silently rewrite a signed or Clinic-issued record. A Clinic that independently received or created a record may need to retain its Clinic copy under its own notice and legal or professional obligations. Doxyte will route a Clinic-record request to the responsible Clinic when it can identify that Clinic.

Restricted compliance evidence, active legal holds and unexpired recovery copies may remain only for their disclosed purpose and schedule. Recovery copies expire under their rolling schedule and are not available for ordinary service or secondary use. These limits do not authorize Doxyte to keep information indefinitely or use it for a new purpose.

For the complete lifecycle and rights explanation, read the Doxyte Patient Privacy Notice and Doxyte Patient Terms of Use.
