The workflow

A personal health record becomes useful when the history is understandable and portable.

Doxyte PHR is designed to bring selected digital records and reviewed document extractions into one chronological view. Labels, dates and record types make it easier to find the information needed for a future visit without changing the original source.

The individual remains central to the record journey. A connected view should make it clear what was added, where it came from and what has been selected for a supported sharing workflow.

What this helps you do

01

Bring approved records from different encounters into one timeline

02

Find information by date, provider or record type

03

See duplicates, gaps and incomplete details before sharing

04

Choose which context to carry into a later care interaction

How it works

A visible path from input to responsible action.

Each step keeps the source, the reviewer and the next decision clear.

01

Collect selected records

Add supported digital records or reviewed document extractions through an authorised workflow.

02

Organise the timeline

Group information by date, encounter, provider and record type while preserving its source.

03

Review the history

Inspect duplicates, gaps, missing dates and any information that still requires confirmation.

04

Choose what moves next

Keep information private or select the relevant context for a supported, authorised sharing journey.

Important context

One view does not mean one undifferentiated data store.

Record availability, storage and sharing depend on the connected source and implementation. Doxyte should preserve provenance, permission and the individual’s choices rather than obscuring them behind a single timeline.

Questions, answered

What to know before using this workflow.

How is a PHR different from a hospital EMR?

An EMR is operated by a care organisation for its clinical work. A personal health record is centred on the individual and can bring selected information from more than one source into a view they manage.

Does organising a record change the original document?

No. Labels, timelines and extracted fields should remain connected to the original source rather than replacing or rewriting it.

Can I choose what to share?

Any supported sharing workflow should make the selected information, intended recipient and purpose visible before it proceeds.
